Miles is a recreation of a classic French card game where players compete to reach a total of 1,000 miles. To win, participants must accumulate either 700 or 1,000 miles by strategically using Mile cards to advance, hazard cards to impede opponents, and safety cards to protect themselves.

The objective of Miles is to simulate a competitive cross-country race spanning up to 1,000 miles. Players embody cars that face challenges and assistance throughout the journey. The primary goal is to guide your car to the finish line, initially set at 700 miles but with the option to extend it to 1,000 miles for higher point rewards. However, this extension also introduces risks such as providing opportunities for your opponent to catch up or potentially depleting your card deck before completing the race. A complete game encompasses multiple rounds until one player reaches 5,000 points, with the flexibility of extending the game limit to 100,000 points, an exclusive feature of our game.

Central to the gameplay are the movement cards that propel players towards victory, contingent on revealing a Green Light (roll) card. Hazard cards introduce obstacles that obstruct opponents' progress or possibly impede your own journey. Each hazard halts movement and has a corresponding remedy to address it effectively. Additionally, each hazard is counteracted by a safety card that shields you from its negative effects. Notably, the Speed Limit hazard restricts the use of movement cards above 50 miles unless countered by the Right of Way safety card, which also neutralizes the Stop hazard.
